OVERVIEW
LeapThread and LeapThread Monitor.
LeapThread Monitor is a Windows desktop application for Etsy sellers that helps monitor listing changes, customer interest, pricing activity, watched listings, and other shop signals.
LeapThread also operates leapthread.com and related licensing, download, support, and service infrastructure used by LeapThread Monitor.
ETSY AUTHORIZATION
Your Etsy password stays with Etsy.
LeapThread Monitor connects to Etsy using Etsy’s authorization process. Your Etsy password remains with Etsy and should never be provided directly to LeapThread or LeapThread Monitor.
LeapThread Monitor is designed to use read-only Etsy access for monitoring purposes and does not automatically edit your Etsy listings.
Depending on the Etsy data available through authorized access, LeapThread Monitor may retrieve shop and listing information needed to provide monitoring features.
LOCAL APPLICATION DATA
Some Monitor data stays on your computer.
LeapThread Monitor may store monitoring history, Watchlist state, monitoring status, application preferences, an installation identifier, and related application data locally on your computer.
Local application data is used to support features such as comparing shop activity over time, preserving application state, managing monitoring preferences, and identifying the installation when the application communicates with LeapThread services.
SERVICE & LICENSING DATA
Information used to operate the service.
LeapThread services may process information needed for licensing, device authorization, Etsy authorization, software updates, reviews, service protection, syncing, and related operations.
Device & software information
This may include authorized device or installation identifiers and software version information.
Transaction references
Payment transaction identifiers may be used to recognize and support lifetime-license purchases.
WEBSITE ANALYTICS
Privacy-light, first-party analytics.
LeapThread uses first-party website analytics to count anonymous website visits.
A website visit is one browser session that remains active while eligible public pages are loaded within 30 minutes of one another. The session cookie is renewed on eligible page loads and expires after 30 minutes of inactivity.
What these analytics do not store
These analytics do not store IP addresses, user-agent strings, email addresses, Etsy OAuth data, or browser fingerprints.
An administrator-only internal testing cookie may be used to keep LeapThread development and testing activity out of customer acquisition metrics.
PAYMENTS
Payment cards are handled by payment providers.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe or other supported payment providers. LeapThread Monitor does not receive or store your complete payment card number.
Payment providers process payment and transaction information under their own privacy practices. LeapThread services may use transaction identifiers and related purchase information to recognize and support licenses.
REVIEWS & FEEDBACK
Information you choose to submit.
If you submit a LeapThread Monitor review, feedback, or feature suggestion, LeapThread may collect the information you provide, along with information used to verify that the associated Etsy shop has used LeapThread Monitor.

LeapThread Monitor and its supporting services may depend on Etsy, Stripe, Cloudflare, and other service providers.

Supporting web, service, and backend infrastructure.
Third-party services may process information under their own privacy practices.
SECURITY
Keep sensitive credentials private.
Your Etsy password stays with Etsy, complete payment card numbers are handled by payment providers, and LeapThread website analytics do not store Etsy OAuth data.
Never send sensitive credentials to support.
Do not send your Etsy password, full payment card number, bank information, card security code, security codes, or other account passwords to LeapThread support.
DISCONNECTING ETSY
You can disconnect the Etsy authorization.
You may disconnect LeapThread Monitor from Etsy through the available account or authorization controls. Disconnecting prevents new Etsy data from being retrieved through that authorization.
DATA SALES & ADVERTISING
LeapThread does not sell personal information to advertisers.
LeapThread uses service providers as described in this policy to operate LeapThread Monitor, process payments, provide authorized Etsy access, and support web and backend services.
